Not quite sure it would fit 6 months unless they are on the smaller side. I like how the color is like vintage blue and not the typical bright blues you see for most boy items.The outfit looks just like the photo, not the highest quality but great for a play outfit for a baby. The tag says 100% cotton but it is really elastic and feels like it has some spandex in it. It held up well with washing, with the exception of the decorative pant ties. They frayed a lot so I added a knot to the end of each one and it seems to have fixed it. It does look like it’s on the smaller end of the size range, so consider sizing up.
